As we have seen today Aldo was just not capable of dealing with all this prssure an Conors pschological war...Just look how he stared on the floor, desperately trying to avoid Conors eyey....I am absolutely sure Conor knew he had alread won then...
What does vocal talent mean you suck a good dick quit watching MMA your way to smart for the rest of us. You want to get rid of ten pounds of ugly fat. Chop your fucken head off
You need to get your head out of your ass there Drake fanboy. Conor is more marketable, outspoken and knows how to promote both himself and his fights. This is the reason he has so many fans and loyal followers. Hell, all you have to do is look at the amount of views Conors interviews and vids get on youtube in comparison to Aldos. Look at the size of Ireland and compare it to Brazil, and yet there were more Irish supporters. You say Aldo was tired and worn out. Well, 1 he didnt do half the promoting and interviews Conor did, and 2 maybe he should have made the trip to the US earlier instead of just getting there a few days prior to the fight. As for the rematch in Brazil. Conor won the fight in a dominant fashion, he is the new official champ, so...he doesnt have to go to Brazil. They fought on neutral territory this time. If Aldo gets a rematch it will be in Ireland more than likely, and rightfully so.
You're an idiot. Aldo has taken more punishment? Yes, against mendes, he did take a ton of punishment. But that wasn't conor hitting him. now was it. Aldo went for the ko. He faked throwing the right and loaded up on the left hook, but conor caught him right after trying to fake the straight right. conor's timing is just too dam good. Conor is the one that had to do all the interviews, all the media, if anything, conor is the one who should have been under all the stress. Aldo was sitting back home comfortable in brazil. while conor did all the work.

that is some of the most dumb shit ive ever heard in my life i swear...i bet u think dana and conor are illuminati..just accept the lose u fucking sore ass bitch
The fight was staged in order to draw an even bigger crowd/money for the rematch. They had to make the fight/knockout look realistic as possible...lots of money was involved/invested; strictly business, wait and see!
@vocaltalent1 You are a true moron but you exemplify the typical Aldo fan. McGregor wasn't being rooted for because he's white, nor did he win because of that. Conor timed the perfect punch and took Aldo out with it.
Conor wasn't at home either, he was in a foreign land as well but still won. This fight wouldn't have gone differently even if it were in Brazil (look what happened with Bethe Correia when she fought Ronda, she was getting booed at the end of it).
You need to stop watching MMA, you pile of shit troll.
Aldo lost the fight before it even started. Now put that down to McGregor's psychological warfare or Aldo's inability to cope with it. He was tensed up and his body language just as Bruce Buffer was making the pre-match introductions really betrayed his nerves and the fact that he didn't want to be there. He completely even avoided looking at Conor when they came forward to touching gloves. After the fight he did himself no favours by saying to Rogan that he didn't get affected by the mind games. It was paramount to accepting that it was indeed Conor's power in his left hand that put him out. Come on man. All these reasons aren't true to you and you play the racism card?
Fighting doesn't know race or color only the skills at the moment are important. In live we play no games there is no replay button or what if. It’s all about fight that’s why all fighters love japan there is no better or worst fighter there is only the beauty of this sport for which are people cheering. Sorry for my bad English

well... that sure was anticlimatic... After an AMAZING weidman vs rockhold, that's what we get in the main event... well that was spectacular anyway !
Thing that bothers me is that from an analysis standpoint there has been litterally NOTHING learned from this fight. Basically if you are overeager, you will overreact to feints (check mcgregor's feet before landing the left hand : he acts like he's gonna come in, Aldo throws while connor steps back from his feint and counters. counter 101) and gonna get countered while coming in, which increases both the stength of the strike and the chances of not seeing the hit. Basically you have a much higher chance at getting knocked out if you rush in wildly.
Nothing AT ALL was learned from this. If rousey, who kept being denied her stengths for over a round deserves a rematch, I genuinely don't understand how aldo has not deserved it for a single mistake in his 16th zuffa fight and his first defeat. Aldo has won more fights under the zuffa banner than rousey has wins in her entire career.
9 years undefeated and 25-2 in MALE MMA is more impressive for me than a 13-1 in a VERY YOUNG women's division (many fighters are overrated, like mcmann, carmouche etc...). So either deny both fighters of their rematches or give it to both. This just shows that the ufc does not care as much as they should about the fighting abilities of their contenders and care way too much about creating invulnerability auras around their fighters for no reason other than money.
Sounds like a racist black cunt, who hates white people. Then stop living off of white peoples capacity and move back to your third world roots, or shut the fuck up. Blacks are the racist americans, spouting racist shit, talking racist shit, blaming incompetence on race, no one even thought race had shit to do with who can fight, and who cannot, its up to the individual. Sounds like a racist black bitch wanted to see a white man lose, out of hate. Funny thing is........the portuguese were responsible for the african slave trade. I.e.......brazillians!!!!! Not the fucking irish!!!!!!!!
Oh, please. Don't turn this into a racial thing. Why do non-whites always scream "racism!" over every little thing? I'm white, and I was very outspoken about the fact that I was rooting for Jose to win. Mainly because McAsshole is such an arrogant/obnoxious piece of crap - I was hoping he would be served a piece of humble pie the same way Ronda was.
I AM AFRICAN AMERICAN!!! I have been studying martial arts since I was 11 and I am now 61. Jose Aldo is an African American. South America is part of the Americas hence; he is African American. Connor did not win because he is a racist. He is NOT a racist. He is a many who understands psychological warfare very very well. How many MMA artist in particular and martial artist in general, of this era, have read the "Tao of Jeet Kune DO" by Bruce Lee? How many have read "Book of Five Rings" by Miyamoto Musashi one of if not the greatest Martial Artist there ever was. In 1545 A.D. in feudal Japan, the great Miyamoto fought 60 'death' matches mind you and won them! That feat has not been topped to to this day. How many have read Sun Tzu's "The Art of War"? These two military/warrior/martial artist treaties were required reading when I was training and competing and I hold a 2nd degree (nidan)Black Belt in Ji-do-Kwan system of Taekwondo. The same system that the ROK army practices. It is the military style of Taekwondo. The "Code of Bushido", Art of War, Book of Five Rings were required reading for ALL martial artist during our era (c. late 60's --> 70's). Connor had read these works. In the "Art of War" and the "Book of Five Rings" BOTH treatises speak of the importance of psychological warfare in battle. I know Connor read it because many of his references about "being free and flowing", formless, no facial expressionless, all are mentioned in these treatises. THAT's why he beat Jose. NOT because he was a bigot. The Irish were highly discrinimated against in the US upon arrival AND still to this day by the British in Europe fighting for freedom and self-determination from British tyranny. That is why the IRA was formed. Conor was the victim of poverty, on social welfare. Jose raised or lived in the favalas of Brazil. Both men no poverty and struggle. Jose is a great great fighter and still and forever will be. Be tides change in the universe. Its a new day. Jose's tactic/strategy in my view was all wrong. Engaged Connor on a straight line to center and slightly to Connors left when he should have angled to Connors right away from his left. But do to mental fatigue, weariness, etc. he got caught. Everyone falls. A true champ will get back up. Lets see if Aldo does. But no shame to him. He is a beautiful human being, with a great spirit, a prodigious fighter. But hey, just as the leaves change colors throughout the year, its now time for a change in the featherweight division. Has nothing to do with race. Connor was very very hungry and I don't think Aldo was. He's been at it a long time.
thats totally possible last poster because we have stevie ray 3-0 in ufc hes the guy that won the belt that conor vacated at cage warriors the crowd would be mental.
@op conor would ride into favelas on horseback and kill every man woman and child that wasn't fit to work
fucking love it aldo was shitting it he looked tense and it was getting to him conor is a killer. Just watched the fight again x33 in a minute and half
I actually understand what you mean. There's no way to prove it, but I think Conor is a master at disrupting his opponents mental game. But now that he's on top, I wonder how that psychological attack will function.
Portuguese are white (European), but not all Brazilians are of Portuguese heritage. It's quite clear that Adlo has an "Afro" influence in his bloodline. Brazilians are composed of many races, not like the early days of South American occupation centuries ago. Just because they speak Portuguese does not make them Portuguese. Just because I speak English does not me an Anglo Saxon. Just because almost the entire South America (excluding Brazil) and central America speak Spanish does not make them Spaniards. Just because you have a splash of blood of a certain race or culture does not make you of that specific heritage.
It was on neutral ground moron. If anything, Aldo had an advantage with the location. Aldo was only 3 hours off Brazil timezone while Conor was 8 hours off. In terms of location, Aldo had the advantage by every measure (time, distance, ALTITUDE, latino population, you name it <Aldo). Lastly, latinos are considered whites. I guess you could say had Aldo been fighting in a Spanish speaking country I guess, but I can guarantee there is probably 10-25X more people that speak Spanish than those that speak Irish in Nevada. So again, your argument holds no merit.
