What a fight! One of the best. If Rory win the fight it would have been perfect.
ReplyDeleteWow great comment. I totally agree. If Rory's chin was a little stronger he would have won this one. What an epic battle between 2 of the very best! We need a third one because Rory deserves another shot with that performance.
DeleteI don't think his problem was his chin, his problem was his broken nose, Lawler constantly hit it hard, Lawler knew Rory was hurt bad in his nose and took advantage on that. Look at the very end of the fight, how Rory goes down and immediately touch his nose in signal of pain. Rory is a beast, Lawler is a beast, but I like more Rory :D, he definitely deserves another shot.
DeleteI had rory up on the score card by 3 to 1 rounds. if he's nose wasen't a total mess for so many rounds and just made it out of the last he could have won. fucking animals both of them.
DeleteRory's chin is actually perfect! Very few fighters can take that kind of beating, breathing with their mouth and still come strong like him. What he needs is more bobing and weaving and not take the punches head on. If Rory would have head movement like Anderson Silva in his prime, Rory would be the perfect fighter. Robbie Lawler is an animal too though! Heart of a champion!
