  1. Because he wasn't KO'd, Johnson is a tough dude and can take a serious beating and let's not forget that he's actually better than Khabib on the feet. Thank god for Khabib's great ground game because if he ain't have that I think Michael Johnson would have won this fight.

    1. if khabib didn't have his ground game he would've lost the fight?? wtf? that's like saying if Anderson Silva didn't have his striking ability he would've lost to everyone. yea, no shit. if khabib didn't have his ground game he wouldn't be remotely comparable to the fighter he is. that's what makes khabib such a dominant force, his ground game is literally on another level than ANYONE. he rag dolls everyone he gets his hands on, even guys considered to be very good on the ground, it's bizarre how strong he seems.

    2. Khabib is one dimensional. If he wasn't an all-time great Sambo fighter he would not be in a major MMA promotion. Anderson Silva is a Nogueira BJJ Black Belt with over 20 years on the mat. Without his BJJ he not be the GOAT, but he would be a Jake Shields type fighter top 5-10 at MW.

His most notable Jiu Jitsu efforts are against Chael Sonnen in his comeback win and Daniel Cormier. Despite it being a loss it could've been a lot worse Note: It was on 2 days notice. If he didn't have that Black Belt Cormier would've smashed his brains into a pulp with it he was virtually unscathed. whereas DC has cuts, bruises and almost TKOed via liver shot.

Never compare Khabib "Never beat a contender" Nurmagomedov to the greatest MW we will ever see. Khabib imo will beat Ferguson in a hard fought 3-5 round war. But there is no doubt in anyone's mind, he is a one trick pony (helluva trick nonetheless).

  2. Khabib isn't that great on his feet but yet Johnson still didn't finish him. Johnson striking is a little overrated imo. He could've picked Khabib apart on the feet but didn't happen and seem like he couldn't.

    1. He rocked Khabib on the feet and NOTE that I never said Khabib's stand up was trash. Johnson's stand up is still better than Khabib's but Khabib's stand up is decent though and I still think that if Khabib's ground game wasn't so good then the result of this fight would have been different but respect to Khabib though. He'a a hell of a fighter.

    2. Note I never said that you said that Khabib stand up is trash lol I'm the one saying khabib's stand up is trash so for Johnson to not being able to finish him isn't that good of an impression. He rocked khabib, I'll give him that though but that's it, khabib was able to stand with him so that says it all. Khabib could be a beast if he adjust his striking some more

    3. I think you guys need to watch round 1 again- I never saw Khabib rocked. At best maybe tagged and he countered in a flurry that took Johnson to the ground. I was honestly surprised Alvarez was able to pull off a ko against dos Anjos just as surprised how much bigger mcgeregor was that Alvarez. But you can rest assured without fail, whether mcregor is able to tag Khabib or not- he will be taken to the ground and the spectacle will finally be over with unless he go up to welterweigbt where he belongs and get destroyed by Woodley. Rhw luckiest motherfucker I ever seen be able to navigate through this sport. I don't care whether or not the weight cut is way too gruelling on him to cut to featherweight- he owes Aldo a rematch and Aldo will not make the same mistake twice- either way the spectacle will co e crashing down and Khabib looks like the first cancandidate to dismantle the clown.

    4. His striking is far from overrated. What you non practitioners don't get is, that fear factor that a striker feels is real. Johnson went in there with one mission KO, 50gs, and title fight.

What he came in expecting, as any competent opponent of Khabib's is expecting is, he will get rag dolled and beat up for 3-5 rounds by a Sambo world champion. It's just as hard for a very good MMA boxer to go in there with the mindset "i'm gonna get this KO easy no worry about the ground" as a Pro Boxer. MJ was pissing himself before the fight no doubt and no one would blame him if they could see the future.

    1. I totally agree. I know khabib deserves a title shot but knowing him and Ferguson went at it on social media for a while, I think it's best they duke it out to show who's the true number one contender. If diaz wanna fight conor, he should prove himself on 155 because we all know he isn't that great against top 3-4 light weight contenders. He got where he is today because of Conor. He just so happens to have a mean chin and cardio. He couldn't do anything against conor besides keep walking forward while eating a lot of punches. He should fight Ferguson, he have no chance against khabib for sure.

    2. I agree Diaz should fight Furgesen or Khabib though. I mean theyve been way more active than he has, Fergusen more so. It just sucks that Connor gets a rematch immediately after his loss to Nate but he gets told he probably won't get a rematch. Connor runs that shit. Connor does not wanna face Khabib i know that for sure.

    3. McGregor is a Blue belt maybe purple at best in BJJ. Having said that he fought hard against Mendes. In the first he got taken down at will but in the second he did much better scrambling and his TD defense was stronger.

Now walking at about 175 he is a lot stronger he got the "rub" from Diaz as Holloway got from Conor. So i don't see anyone at 155 dominating him on the ground or in the clinch. Mendes was the closest to it and he was roided to the gills.

McGregor i can confidently say is a clean and very smart fighter. He is preparing for either Khabib or Ferguson to hold him on the ground. He bullied Alverez and I thought he would lose that fight in a decision. Sky is the limit for Conor at 155 and 145 if he ever returns there. 170 he will get beat by a lot of those guys since he is on average 20 lbs lighter.

  4. no, coaches often call for the next coach to talk when they are done. and Henry Houfes accent and speech pattern made it sound like he was saying "okay, rashad?" to mike. but he says Okay? (to mike) and Rashad.(to rashad giving him his time to give mike advice. Rashad is on the outside of the cage. Rashad Evans
