  1. I still don't see weidman as a outstanding boxer who's got what it takes. All guys he fought so far were washed out and old guys planning to retire and get some money before throwing their final shot. These boxers who got defeated are not only pretty old, they don't have that passion and fire either since they got them all in their youth.
The challenger should be the same age and hungry for the belt with burning fire!

    1. See now thats the hatred Weidman's talking about. He was referring to you specifically when he got on the mic after the fight. That's 3 LEGENDS in a row now he's dominated. All former or then champions from Brazil. Why not just accept the fact that Weidman's for real & no one in the division is taking that belt from him. The only guy who has a fighting chance is Rockhold. I'm quite certain you weren't referring to Anderson Silva as "old & washed up" when he was embarrassing every motherfucker who stepped in the cage with him. Let's just admit that in this particular situation, age didn't really mean a damn thing with the guys Weidman beat. But hey success & greatness will forever come w/ it's mindless trollers and naysayers like yourself who refuse to accept it when they witness it #JOINTHETEAM

    2. Weidman is such a beast. Once again he beat Vitor and if you think Vitor lost cause he was old your dumb. Sure Vitor was old but he was at his best! Even Rogan said this is the best he has ever been as his last 3 fights were a TKO win over Henderson, KO win over Rockhold and TKO over Bisphand which proves he was at his best in his career. Weidman smashed him over whlemed him, out grappled him and gave him no chances to get back in once he was taken to the ground. Ps Weidmna's win over Machida was when Machida was 34 which is not old. Machida was at his best, he showed up throwing vicious elbews and punches on Wediman's chin. You just can't deny that Weidman is such a beast. His win over the best Vitor in his career who beat Rockhold and Vitor beat all the others to get a tittle fight which shows one again how well rounded Weidman is.

    3. Sure after the Silva fights I felt the same (that he doesn't have what it takes to stay champion) after the Lyoto Machida i thought hey he's pretty good but, NOW COME ON CHRIS WEIDMAN IS THE REAL DEAL!

  2. Something had to happen to Vitor. He got hurt or something. He dominated the entire fight till he laid like a fish on his back. Weird.....

    1. The fight only lasted like two and a half minutes lol that one flurry of punches that Weidman ATE shouldn't count as "dominating the fight". lol your brazilian got punished. accept it.

  3. Dominick Cruz said it best when he said Chris made it look easy. It wasn't easy, he makes it look that way. He IS good. Check out Jack Slack's articles on Weidmans Stance, Striking/ Kicking for the take down, his understand of distance, his (new) kick checking (the use of destruction), and perfect pressure technique, and most importantly, his Fight Intelligence. I joined the team!

  4. I'd like to add, these guys are not tired old has beens, he makes them look that way by dominating them, and forcing his will. When you ask, "what happened to...?"...the answer is: Weidman happened.
